Ingredients:
1 whole beef tongue
1 onion
1 carrot
4-5 garlic cloves
1-3 bay leaves
1 tablespoon of whole black peppers
Some parsley, dills, and basil if you have.
Directions:
1. Bring the tongue to boil and simmer for one hour removing the foam.
2. Add the remaining ingredients and continue to simmer from 3 hours to 5 hours.
Note: The more you simmer, the softer it will be!
Enjoy it with fresh pickles and bread!
