Black Pepper Jalapeno Basil Chicken
Ingredients for Sauce:
Water 1/2 cup
Soy sauce 1/2 cup
Honey 4 tbsp
Fish sauce 1 tbsp
Vinegar 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Ginger powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Ingredients for Black Pepper Jalapeno Basil Chicken:
Sesame oil 3 tbsp
Onion sliced 1 cup
Red capsicum (julienne) 1 cup
Yellow capsicum (julienne) 1 cup
Jalapeno sliced 1/2 cup
Prepared sauce
Slurry (water 1/4 cup + corn flour 2 tbsp)
K&N’s Fiery Fingers 780 g
Water 1/4 cup
Basil leaves 10-12
Directions for Sauce Preparation:
1. In a bowl, add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, fish sauce, turmeric powder, ginger powder, black pepper, salt, and water. Mix them well. Your sauce is ready.
Directions for Black Pepper Jalapeno Basil Chicken Preparation:
2. In a wok heat oil and add onion. Cook until translucent.
3. Add red capsicum. Yellow capsicum, jalapenos and cook for 2-3 mins.
4. Add prepared sauce and bring it to a simmer.
5. Add slurry and cook until thickens in consistency.
6. Fry K&N’s Fiery Fingers as per instructions on the pack.
7. Add K&N’s Fiery Fingers into the wok and mix it well. Add water and mix it again.
8. Add basil leaves and cook further for 2 mins.
9. Your Black Pepper Jalapeno Basil Chicken is ready to serve.
