Ingredients :
To marinate chicken:
Chicken – 500 g (boneless)
Ginger & garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Curd – ¼ cup (3 tbsp)
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Chilli powder – 1 tbsp
Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp (to fry)
To make masala paste:
Butter – 2 tbsp
Onion – 1 (roughly chopped)
Ginger & garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Tomatoes – 4 (roughly chopped)
Kashmiri chilli powder – 1 tbsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Sugar – 1 tbsp
Cashew nuts – 30
Water – 1 cup (250 ml)
Salt to taste
To make butter chicken gravy:
Butter – 2 or 3 tbsp
Water – 1/2 cup
Whipping cream or fresh cream – 100 ml
Dried Fenugreek leaves – 2 tsp
