Chicken Butterfly is a delightful snack that’s often enjoyed during Iftar but you can make and enjoy at any time as patry starter or simply with evening tea. Let me share a recipe for this crispy and flavorful treat:

Butterfly Chicken Recipe :::
Ingredients:
-Breast fillets : 800gm
-Salt : 1 tbs or to taste
-Red chilli powder : 1 tbs
-Red chilli flakes : 2 tsp
-Black pepper powder : 1 tsp
-Chat masala : 1tsp
-Ginger garlic & 2 green chillies paste : 2 tbs
-Egg : 1
-Corn flour 2 tbs
-Maida (All-purpose flour) 3 tbs
For slurry : (Coating for potato slices)
-Corn flour 3-4 tbs
-Water less than 1/2 cup or as required
-Potatoes peeled & thinly sliced 4 large (soaked in water)
Cooking oil for frying
Directions:
-Cut chicken fillets into cubes (1 inch) then wash & pat dry.
-In bowl,add chicken,salt,red chilli powder,red chilli flakes,black pepper powder,chat masala,ginger garlic & green chilli paste,egg.
-Add corn flour,all-purpose flour,mix well & marinate for 1 hour.
For Slurry:
-In bowl,add corn flour,water and whisk well.
Method:
Now dip potato slices in corn flour+water mixture then thread potato slice into toothpick/skewer followed by marinated chicken cube piece in the center of the each potato slice.
-In wok,add cooking oil and fry chicken on medium low flame until golden brown (3-4 minutes)
-Enjoy with ketchup, chilli sauce or the sauce you like.
