After staying one year in Ranchi I came to know about the delicious Champaran Meat…

Champaran is a district from Bihar ..n is famous for the unique cooking style of meat…for the preparation of Champaran meat also known as Ahuna meat, usually Chevon is used..

but here I have used chicken….the chicken is marinated with slices of onion, ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric and chilli powder, garam masala powder, green and red chillies, black pepper, cinnamon, green n black cardamom, 2-3 whole garlic n last but not the least warmed mustard oil.

This marinated chicken goes in a earthen pot and sealed properly..n the chicken is cooked on low flame..the pot is tossed in every 15 mins…n finally the champaran chicken is ready to serve within an hour.
