Chicken 65 Recipe | How to make Chicken 65

Ingredients For Chicken 65 Marinade

500 gms Chicken (Boneless)
75 ml Water
02 tbl Spoons Curd
01 tbl Spoon Ginger Garlic Paste
10 Fresh Curry Leaves
01 tsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
01 tsp Ajinomoto (MSG)
1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
1/2 tsp Dark Soy Sauce
1/6 tsp Red Colour
01 Egg
1/4 Cup Corn Flour
01 Cup All Purpose Flour (Maida)
500 ml Sesame Oil

Ingredients For Chicken 65 Sauce | How to make Chicken 65

03 tbl Spoons Sesame Oil
01 inch Ginger (Chopped)
10 cloves Garlic (Chopped)
05 Green Chillies
01 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
20 Fresh Curry Leaves
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
01 tsp Ajinomoto (MSG)
02 tbl Spoons Red Chilli Sauce
1/4 cup Curd / Buttermilk
1/6 tsp Red Colour

How to make Chicken 65 | Chicken Recipes

Step 1) Begin by preparing the marinade for the Chicken Breast Cubes which are 1 inch in dimensions,

Step 2) from the above list add all the ingredients for Chicken 65 recipe marinade into a bowl except the egg and let the chicken rest in them for 15 minutes, now crack open an egg into the bowl and stir it well using a spoon, the egg acts as a coating agent and seals all the juices of the marinade within the chicken cubes.

Step 3) Add corn flour and all purpose flour to the bowl and mix well using a spoon to create a batter of juicy Chicken 65 cubes, ready to be deep fried.

Step 4) To a kadhai/deep frying pot, add Sesame oil and set the heat to medium high, when the oil is medium hot (NOT very hot), drop in the marinated chicken cubes gradually, and keeping the flame at medium, let them deep fry for around 7-8 minutes, we do NOT want to cook them completely, we just want to cook them 75%.

Step 5) Retrieve the 75% cooked Chicken 65 cubes from the hot oil and continue the same process until you fry all your Chicken 65 cubes, once they are all out of the kadhai/deep frying pot, let the oil in the kadhai/deep frying pot heat up by raising the flame to high, this would take around 3 minutes, now you add the 75% cooked Chicken 65 cubes to this very hot oil, and wait for around 1-2 minutes maximum, and that would be enough to offer your Chicken 65 a golden red texture and now they are crunchy from the outside, and well cooked from the inside.

STep 6) Retrieve the 100% cooked Chicken 65 cubes and now it’s time for us to prepare the sauce, so in a wok, Add 3 tbl spoons of Sesame oil, and keeping the flame for the wok at high, add all the ingredients mentioned above in for the Chicken 65 sauce, make sure when you are about to add the curd, you lower the temperature, since curd is a milk by-product it is convenient to cook it at a very low flame, otherwise it will curdle, finally put off the flame because the steam from the sauce can turn the Chicken 65 cubes soggy, drop in the chicken 65 cubes, saute` them well and serve hot, enjoy amazing Chicken Recipes with your family and friends learn for free from Gurus Cooking 🙂
