Ingredients:
Chicken- 1/2 kg
Tomato ketchup- 1/4 cup
Water- 1/4 cup
Thinly crushed garlic-1 tsp
Chilly powder-2 tsp
Pepper powder-1 tsp
Cumin powder-1/2 tsp
Salt-to taste
Vinegar-1 1/2 tbsp
Molasses-1 tbsp (or use brown sugar)
Chilly sauce-1tbsp
Preparation:
In a sauce pan add all the ingredients from
Heat on medium low flame for about 8-10 minutes or until the sauce starts thicken.
Turn off heat and allow to cools down completely.
Wash and clean the chicken pieces; wipe them with a kitchen towel.
Make some slits on the chicken pieces with a knife.
Marinate the chicken pieces with half of the prepared bbq sauce.
Rest it for an hour in fridge.
Heat a grill pan with oil oil; place the marinated chicken pieces on top.
Grill each side for 10-13 minutes and coat the reserved BBQ sauce over the chicken while cooking.
Add in to serving plate and garnish with coriander leaves.
