this delicious aromatic moist recipe will win your heart ..one of my first non veg recipes on my channel..hope ull like it and enjoy the video ?
INGREDIENTS:
For marination:
1 kg boneless chicken
2 tbsp ginger garlic and chilli paste
1 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
3 tsp red chilli powder
4 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
3 tsp chicken tikka masala
1 bowl of yogurt (dahi)
salt to taste
mix all cover and marinate for 5 to 6 hours .
For rice :
3 cups basmati rice soaked for 1 hour
add salt to taste
3 to 4 lavang (cloves )
2 bay leaves (tej pata)
3 pc javitri
3 pc star anise
3 pc green cardamon (elaichi)
2 tsp ghee
cook until almost cooked .dont cook it fully.
strain water and remove whole spices .
keep aside .
for onions:
take 5 onions sliced
heat a pan add 2 to 3 tsp oil.
add salt to taste
¼ tsp sugar and
cook until golden brown.keep aside
To cook chicken for biryani :
heat a kadhai
add 2 tbsp ghee (can add lill more )
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp jeera heat and add
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1 tbsp chopped ginger
2 to 3 green chillies chopped
cook it well and add
4 tomatoes puree
add powdered spices:
1 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
2 tsp red chilli powder.
4 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
2 tsp chicken tikka masala
salt to taste
mix and add marinated chicken
2 tbsp of cooked onions .
and let it cook until chicken is soft and cooked well.
add the cooked rice and remaining browned onions
add one cup coriander leaves .
give it a smokey flavour by burning one coal and adding ghee to it and place the cup in biryani for 14 minutes.
add 1 lemons juice and 1 to 2 tsp ghee.
serve hot with vinegar onions and green chilli or raita .
tip.: ghee makes the biryani more moist and flavorful so add it generously..can add less if u want .
adjust spices to your taste .
