Chicken biryani is one of the main course dish in kerala and all over the world ,here I tried less ingredients, No sautéing Onions Fried Chicken Biryani in Kerala style . It is an simple step biriyani making video with less ingredients and good taste . Also it’s a dum biriyani prepared in kerala Malabar style .

Ingredients

Chicken – 750 grams
Red chilli powder – 1.5 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tbsp
Garam masala -3/4 tbsp
Lemon juice – 1/2 tsp
Garlic – 10 cloves
Ginger – 2 inch size
Green chilli – 3-5 no’s
Onion -1 no’s
Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Funnel seed powder – 1 tsp
Soya sauce – 1 tsp
Curry leaves
Tomato – 1 no’s
Coconut oil – 3 tbsp
Pine apple – 1/2 cup small slices
or essence – 1 drop
Salt

For Rice

Jeeraka Shala kaima rice – 2 cup -250 grams
Water – 3 cups (for 1 cup rice 1.5 cup water )
Salt
Ghee – 2.5 tbsp
Cinnamon stick – 1 inch size
Cloves – 5-6 no’s
Cardamom – 5 no’s
Saffron if you have – 1 pinch
Cashew
Kismiss
Coriander leaves
Mint leaves
