To Make Marinated Chicken

Chicken – 1 Kg
Salt – 2 Tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1 Tsp
Chilli Powder – 2 Tsp

To Make Masala Powder

Coriander Seeds – 3 Tbsp
Whole Spices
( Cinnamon, Cardamom, Cloves, Star Anise, Mace )
Cumin Seeds – 2 Tsp
Peppercorns – 1/2 Tsp
Poppy Seeds – 1 Tbsp
Dry Coconut – 1 Tbsp

To Make Chicken Curry

Marinated Chicken
Sesame Oil – 3 Tbsp
Onion – 2 Nos
Green Chilli – 1 No.
Ginger Garlic Paste
Tomato – 3 Nos
Curry Leaves
Ground Masala
Water – 2 Cups
Coriander Leaves

Method
To a bowl, add the chicken pieces, add salt, turmeric powder,
chili powder and mix the masala with the chicken pieces.
Soak for 30 minutes
In a pan, add coriander seeds, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom..
star anise, maze, cuminseeds, peppercorns and fry well.
Add poppy seeds, grated dry coconut and fry.
Transfer it to a plate and let it cool.
Once cooled, transfer to a mixer jar and grind to a fine
powder.
In a pressure cooker, add oil, chopped onions and green chilly
and saute.
Add ground ginger garlic paste and mix.
Add finely chopped tomatoes and curry leaves and saute.
Add the marinated chicken and mix well.
Add ground masala powder and mix together.

Add water, cover the cooker and cook till 3 whistles.
Add handful of coriander leaves and mix together.
Delicious chicken gravy is ready to serve nice and hot.
