Ingredients For Chicken Marination
1: Chicken breast 500 grams cutted into cubes
2: Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
3: Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Mix all the above ingredients and marinate for 30 minutes
Ingredients For Chicken Gravy
1: Vegetable Oil 3 tbsp
2: Grated Onion 1 medium size
3: Ginger paste 1 tsp
4: Garlic Paste 1 tsp
5: Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
6: Red Chilli Powder 2 tsp
7: Garam Masala Powder 1 tsp
8: Cumin Powder 3/4 tsp
9: Coriander Powder 2 tsp
10 : Salt 1 tsp / to taste
11: Tomato purée/ Tomato paste 4 tbsp
12: Curd / yogurt 3 tbsp
13: Cashew Nut Paste 3 tbsp ( 14 cashew nut)
14: 150 Ml water ( 3/4 cup)
15: Green Chilli 4
16: Dry Fenugreek 2 tsp
Preparation
First add 3 tbsp of oil into a pan / kadai then add 1 grated medium size onion cook it till it’s golden and add 1 tsp of ginger and 1 tsp of garlic paste cook it till smells come out of it for 2 to 3 minutes and add the marinated chicken cook it for 4 to 5 minutes in medium to high flame until chicken changes color into white then add all the spices 1/2 tsp turmeric powder , 2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder , 3/4 tsp cumin powder, 2 tsp coriander powder and 1 tsp of salt mix it well and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes then add the tomato purée or paste and cook it for another 3 to 5 minutes until the oil separates now lower the flame and add 3 tbsp of curd / yogurt and 3 tbsp of cashew paste mix it well and cook till oil appears and then add 150 ml of water about 3/4 cup add 3 green chillies cover the pan and let it cook for 15 minutes on low flame after that open the led and add 2 tsp of dry fenugreek and let it simmer for 1 minute then our dish chicken handi / mughlai chicken handi is ready
