Chicken Jalfrezi Restaurant Style | Chicken Jalfrezi HD 2021

Chicken Jalfrezi has its origins in the Bengal region of the Indian subcontinent. Chicken Jalfrezi recipe contains Bell Peppers, Onions, and chicken stir-fried and cooked in Tomato puree with and topped with julienne Ginger to kick the taste buds in the right places. it is one of the good chicken recipes for dinner with few ingredients to hand. also easy chicken recipes for beginners.

Ingredients
• Boneless Chicken (Diced) 350 gms
• Pepper Powder ½ tsp
• Salt 1 tsp (to taste)
• Kashmiri red chilli powder ½ tsp
• Turmeric powder ½ tsp
• Oil 1 tsp (marination)
• Oil 60 ml (for Sauté)
• Oil 1 tbsp (for curry)
• Onions (Sliced) – 2 nos
• Ginger paste 2 tsp
• Bell peppers/Capsicum (Diced) 2 nos
• Coriander powder 1 tbsp
• Cumin powder 1 tsp
• Kashmiri red chilli powder ½ tsp
• Salt 1 tsp
• Tomato puree 2 medium nos
• Water 80 ml for cooking
• Garam masala 1 tbsp
• Ginger 2 inches (julienne cut)
• Green chillies 2 nos

Directions
• In a bowl, add chicken, pepper powder, salt, Kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder & oil. Mix it well and keep aside for 30 minutes to marinate.
• In a pan, heat 60 ml oil add chicken marinate and saute for 5 min on low flame.
• Take the chicken out and keep it aside.
• Add another 1 tbsp oil and add sliced onions.
• Fry onions till golden brown (approx. 5 min) and add Ginger paste, saute for 1 minute.
• Now add diced bell peppers/capsicum and stir fry for 2 minutes.
• Add Coriander powder, cumin powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder & salt and saute on medium heat for 1 minute.
• Add tomato puree and saute on low heat for 2 minutes.
• Place the lid and cook for 2 minutes on medium heat.
• Remove the lid and add fried chicken and 80 ml water.
• Cover and cook for 20 minutes on medium heat
• Add Garam masala, Julienne cut ginger and green chillies. Mix it well.
• Cover and cook for another 5 minutes.
• Ready to serve.
