Chicken ka Salan Recipe – Tasty Chicken Curry Food Recipe by Cooking With Asifa
Ingredients:-
Meat:
– Chicken leg pieces (1.5 kg)
Vegetables:
– Fried onions (1 cup)
– Ginger garlic paste (2.5 tbsp)
Oil:
– Vegetable oil (1 cup / 250 ml)
Spices:
– Garam masala (1 tsp)
– Green cardamom (3-4)
– Coriander powder (1 tsp)
– Turmeric powder (0.5 tsp)
– Red chili flakes (1.5 tsp)
– Salt (1 tbsp / as you like)
– Kashmiri red chili powder (1 tsp)
Others:
– Yogurt (1 cup)
– Yogurt (3 tbsp)
– Water (2 cups / as you like)
Recipe-
– In a chopper, add fried onions (1 cup), yogurt (1 cup), ginger garlic paste (2.5 tbsp), red chili flakes (1.5 tsp), Kashmiri red chili powder (1 tsp), coriander powder (1 tsp), turmeric powder (0.5 tsp), garam masala (1 tsp), salt (1 tbsp / as you like) to make paste & set aside.
– Heat vegetable oil (1 cup / 250 ml), add green cardamom (3-4), chicken leg pieces (1.5 kg) & fry chicken for 8-10 minutes approximately till it turns light golden brown.
– Add yogurt (3 tbsp) & cook for 3 minutes more.
– Add chopped masala in chicken to cook & keep stirring.
– When oil separates & comes over the top , add water (2 cups / as you like)
– Cover the lid & cook for 15-20 mins approximately on a low flame.
– Remove excessive oil & serve as you like with Roti, Naan or Rice.
