Chicken Kare-kare is a Filipino stew wherein chicken pieces are sautéed in garlic and onion, and then cooked in a rich peanut sauce. The sauce is traditionally made from ground peanuts.The dish has a mild flavor. Vegetables are usually added towards the end of the cooking process. This is best served with shrimp paste (bagoong alamang).
