Hello guys, welcome to Smart cooking by Atithi ( #smartcookingbyatithi). Hope you all are doing well!! In today’s video we are presenting you with another appetizing recipe made from Chicken, Chicken lababdar.
Chicken lababdar/Murgh lababdar is a rich mughlai cuisine, which is similar to butter chicken but comparatively easy to make. It is true to its name as it is total surrender of one’s taste buds to that dish. If you are a chicken lover, then this is an ultimate dish for you!!! So treat your plate with rich chicken lababdar this weekend and enjoy with your family ❤️

|Chicken Lababdar |

Ingredients:

For Marination:
750 Grams chicken- cut into big pieces
½ tsp of haldi powder
2 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder
½ tsp of Jeera powder
Fresh Curd- 100 grms
Refined oil- 5 ml
Salt to taste

For Making the paste
1 Medium size onion cut into dice
1 Inch Ginger
4 Green Chillies
8 cloves garlic
10-12 cashew nuts
For Cooking:
10 ml oil
2 Bay leaves
1 cinnamon stick
4 cardamoms
4 cloves
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp dhania powder
½ tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder
½ tsp of Garam Masala
4 table spoon of tomato ketchup
3 tsp of fresh cream
1 tsp of dry kasuri methi

For Garnishing-
Chopped fresh coriander leaves & gingers Julian

Method:

Take a big mixing bowl, add chicken, curd, haldi, jeera, red chillie powder along with salt & oil. Mix everything together and rest it for 1 hr for marination.
Now put 500 ml water for boiling add onion, ginger, garlic, cashew boil for 5 mins. Strain and make a fine paste in blender.
Now in a kadai add oil, bayleaf, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and fry for 30 secs. Add the onion paste, add black pepper, dhania powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, garam masala and sauté for 2-3 mins. Now add the marinated chicken and cook it for another 5 mins. Add salt, tomato ketchup and water, cover it and cook it in medium flame for 10 more minutes. Add fresh cream and dry kasuri methi. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and ginger Julian &Serve hot with rice/roti/paratha/Nan.
Serve for 4
Duration- 40 mins approx…
