Here’s Our First ramadan 2018 ramadan Special Recipe.
Chicken Lajawab Curry . A recipe by jhatpat cooking
FULL RECIPE :
Ingredients :
(For Frying chicken )
• 1/2KG Chicken Boneless
• 01 tsp salt (namak)
• 01 tsp garam masala
• 02 tsp chili powder (lal mirch powder)
• 01 tsp cumin (zeera)
• 03 tbsp yogurt (dahi)
• Some oil
(For Gravy La-Jawab)
• 04 medium tomatoes (tamatar)
• 03 cups water (paani)
• 05 dried chilies (sookhi lal mirch)
• 02 star anise (badiaan kay phool)
• 03 cloves (loung)
• 01 small cinnmon (daarcheeni)
• 04 bay leaf (tez patta)
• 01 cup peanut (mong phali)
• 01 tbsp salt (namak)
• 01 tsp turmeric (haldi)
• 02 tsp chili powder (lal mirch powder)
• 01 tsp cumin (zeera)
• 03 tbsp oil
• Half cup cream
• 01 tbsp butter (makkhan)
• 01 tsp fenugreek (kasoori methi)
• some fresh coriander chopped (hara dhania)
(For Gravy Tarka)
• Some oil
• 01 tbsp ginger garlic paste (adrak lehson paste)
• 01 tsp chili powder (lal mirch powder)
• 01 tsp salt(namak)
• 02 tsp fenugreek (kasoori methi)
• 01 tbsp lemon juice (leemo ka russ)
Method :
(For Frying chicken )
• put salt, garam masala, chili powder, cumin and yogurt in
chicken.
• mix well and leave for 10min for marinating.
• Now stir fry for 10min on medium heat and set aside
(For Lajawab gravy )
• cut tomatoes into half.
• pour water into the pot and put tomatoes, dried chilies, star
anise , cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf, salt, turmeric, chili powder,
peanuts and cumin into it and mix it.
• simmer for 05 min.
• put it into the blender and blend well until it will turn into thick
paste and leave it in the blender.
• Now put some oil into the pot and add ginger garlic paste, chili
powder, salt, kasuri methi, lemon juice in it.
• sauté for 01min.
• now Add Lajawab Gravy and mix well.
• bring to Simmer.
• now add oil, butter and cream and mix it.
• now add fried chicken and kasoori methi.
• simmer for 05min.
• DONE!!!
*Garnish with Hara Dhania and Serve With Roti OR Rice.
