CHICKEN LEG-PIECE CURRY
Chicken is one of the best non-vegetarian sources of protein. It contains more amounts of proteins and less amount of fat. Apart from protein, chicken is rich in several minerals like phosphorus and calcium that helps to keep bones healthy. Chicken, also being rich in vitamin B6, plays an important role in preventing heart attack
Finally this is my first chicken recipe upload. I actually love to cook chicken recipes and my family also love those. This is my daughter’s one of favourite recipes. Royal taste of curry with aroma of ‘garam masala’ makes it a ‘desi dish’. Use of ‘Sattu’ in this dish, also increases its taste. Nowadays many people have restriction on red-meat dishes. Don’t worry. You may try this chicken dish, which is not too rich but tasty at the same time. Okay. Enough chatting. Now just have a look at the ingredients.

INGREDIENTS :-

4 Chicken leg pieces
Sliced Onion (4tbsp.)
Raisin / Kismis (2 tbsp.)
Sour Yogurt / Khatta Dahi (60 gm.)
Garlic (to make 2tbsp. paste)
Ginger (to make 1.5 tbsp. paste)
Green Chillis
Sunflower Oil (3 tbsp.)
Salt (as per your taste)
Sugar (as per your taste)
Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder (2 tsp.)
Turmeric Powder (1tsp.)
Sattu (2 tbsp.)
Cholesterol free butter (1 tbsp.)
Garam Masala (ground after roasting)

GARAM MASALA : The components of the mix are toasted, then ground together.A typical Indian version of garam masala contains–
Black and white peppercorns, Cloves, Cinnamon or cassia bark, Mace (Nutmeg), Black and green cardamom pods, Bay leaf, Cumin. Easily available in grocery store.
