Here’s a chicken mughlai recipe that can bode well with any kind of main course, be it rice or chapattis. Famished Thoughts bring you a simple and easy chicken gravy recipe or chicken kulambu (as we fondly call it here down south), that is certain to amaze anyone who has a likeability towards indian curry.
Method:
Heat oil in a pan, add whole spieces ( 2 cloves, 2 cinnamon stick).
add crushed 2 onions and saute it until golden brown, add 3 big Tomato puree and 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste.
Saute until raw smell disappears.
Add 3 slit green chilies, 1 tbsp jeera powder, 1 tbsp Red chilli powder, 2 tsp coriander powder,1 tsp Kashmiri Red chilli powder,salt to taste.
Mix all the spices well. Add some water to it and let it cook well.
Add 1 kg of chicken to it and blend it well with the gravy.
Close the lid and let it cook nicely for about 5 minutes.
Once 5 mins is over,open the lid and add 1 cup of curd and mix it well.
Add 1 tsp of garam masala, then add 2 cups of water and mix it well.
close the lid and let it cook for 10 mins until the chicken is nicely cooked.
Now add 3 tbsp cashewnut paste to it and mix it well.
Add handful of chopped coriander leaves to it.
Chicken Mughlai is ready to be served hot.
