Chicken stuffed fried buns: a quick and easy recipe for dinner!

Fluffy, full of flavor and easy to make, you can’t wait to eat them! 
 
INGREDIENTS
 380g (12.5 oz) flour;
 2 tsp dry yeast;
 1 cup buttermilk, warm;
 1 egg;
 ½ tsp salt;
 ½ tsp sugar;
 3 tbsp vegetable oil;
 2 chicken breasts, minced;
 1 large white onion, chopped;
 2 cups cooked rice;
 Salt and pepper to taste.
 
METHOD

 Start with a dough by combining warm buttermilk with salt, sugar, yeast, vegetable oil and an egg.
 Add flour and knead the dough until smooth. Brush with vegetable oil, cover with damp towel and set aside in warmth for 1 hour.
 Meanwhile, make a simple chicken filling by cooking chopped onion with some vegetable oil until nice and golden. Add minced meat in batches, season and leave to cook until fully done.
 Combine chicken with cooked rice and let the filling cool down.
 Cut the dough into portions (around 60 g/2 oz each) roll out into a circle, place a generous amount of chicken and rice filling in the middle and pinch the edges together to form a triangle as shown on the video.
 Cook meat pies in preheated oil, making sure that the oil is covering each pie around halfway up. Cook over low heat for around 4-6 minutes or until golden and crispy on both sides.
