China Grass Pudding
China Grass Pudding is a flavourful, silky dessert made by flavouring milk with & firmed up to blocks with china grass. China Grass Pudding is a surprise for the family and makes moments special. China Grass Pudding is a must try at home for mid-day & after meal dessert cravings.
Ingredients
1kg milk
3 cups water
1 cup sugar
5 grams agar agar / china grass
2 tbsp Roohafzah
Instructions
Take china grass in a pan (I cut them into small strips). Rinse it with water once, then add water till immersing level. Now set aside for half an hour. Heat it up, and add sugar it and cook until its completely dissolved. Mix with a spoon to speed up the straining process. Now turn off the flame and add milk and roohafzah in it and mix it quickly. Pour it in the tray / bowl where you want to set. Do not delay as it will start setting quickly. Leave it undisturbed for 30mins. No need to keep in fridge it will set well in room temperature itself. Once set you can leave it in the fridge until serving time. Cut into squares.
Serve China Grass Pudding chilled with a sprinkle of color sprinklers, looks cute and tastes great too.
