Chinese Style Fried Chicken + Glaze Recipe
Ingredients List

1 kg chicken thighs/ legs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp Chinese five spice
Oil for frying
For Glaze

1 tbsp garlic oil (or oil with 1 clove crushed garlic)
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
Simmer for 2-3 minutes on the lowest heat stirring occasionally.
Important Tips

• Ensure chicken is dry before frying as you may get burnt from the hot oil mixing with the moisture.
• Fry the chicken for 7-8 minutes on medium heat turning every two minutes so it can get crispy and cook through.
