Caramel Bars!! I love a healthier dessert because I can have it anytime throughout the day without crashing. These bars are really easy to make and packed full of flavor. Vegan, gluten-free, refined sugar free & a no bake recipe.
Recipe
Caramel Bars – Layer 1
1 cup almond flour
1 cup oat flour
1 tbsp cacao powder
1/4 cup maple syrup
4 tbsp peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Caramel Bars – Layer 2
10 dates pitted and soaked in hot water
2 tbsp peanut butter
1/2 cup almond milk
Caramel Bars – Layer 3
1/2 cup dark chocolate
1 tsp coconut oil
Start by mixing together all the ingredients in layer 1. Press into a greased pan. Put in the freezer while making the 2nd layer. Add the ingredients of the 2nd layer to a food processor and blend until smooth. Pour on top of first layer and freeze for at least 4 hours. Melt chocolate with oil and pour over your second layer. Freeze for 15 minutes so the chocolate is hard. With a hot knife cut out your bars. Enjoy!
