Ingredients
MARINATE AND FRY CHICKEN
• Chicken Breasts – 2 (large)
• Pepper Powder – 2 tsp
• Garlic Powder – 1 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Butter – 1 tbsp
• Olive Oil – 2 tbsp
CREAMY MUSHROOM CHICKEN SAUSE
• Garlic – 1 tsp (finely chopped)
• Garlic Cloves – 6 (Crushed)
• Onion – ½ cup (Chopped)
• Butter – 2 tbsp
• Olive Oil – 2 tbsp
• Mushroom – 500 gm (Thickly Sliced)
• Chicken Stock Cube – 1
• Hot water – 1 ½ cups
• Heavy Cream – ½ cup (250 ml)
• Dried Oregano – 1 tsp
• Parsley – 2 tbsp (Chopped)
Direction
• Cut the chicken in half lengthwise.
• Take a small bowl and add garlic powder, pepper powder, and salt. Stir to combine and sprinkle this mixture over the chicken breasts.
• Heat butter and olive oil in a large pan and over medium-high heat.
• Place the chicken and cook for 4-5 mins on each side, then remove from the pan.
• Add butter and olive oil to the same pan. Add crushed garlic and saute it for 2 mins or until fragrant.
• Then remove from the pan and keep aside.
• To the same pan add chopped garlic and sliced mushroom.
• Saute well and cook on a medium flame for 3 mins.
• Add chopped onion and sauté well until transparent.
• Then add the chicken stock cube and pour hot water. Mix well until well dissolved.
• Boil them for 2 mins and add heavy cream and dried oregano.
• Mix well and reduce heat to medium-low. Cook for 5 mins.
• Return the fried chicken along with garlic to the pan. Let it simmer for 7-10 minutes.
• Off the flame and garnish with chopped parsley.
