I don’t know about you but turning on my oven during the heat of the summer is one of my least favorite things to do. Today I am sharing an easy way to prepare and cook a peach cobbler in the crockpot. Served with a scoop of cold vanilla ice cream, this is the perfect comforting dessert to share with loved ones. Crockpot Peach Cobbler
7-8 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, sliced (you can also substitute apples or nectarines)
3 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup cold cubed unsalted butter
3/4 cup buttermilk
Cook on HIGH 2 1/2 – 3 hours or LOW 4-5 hours.
