Chicken Manchurian with Egg Fried Rice
Ingredients for Chicken Marination:
Chicken boneless (cubes) 800 g
Shan Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Egg 1
Corn flour 1/4 cup
Chili sauce 1 tbsp
White pepper powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Oil (for frying) as required
Ingredients for Chicken Manchurian:
Oil 3 tbsp
Shan Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Tomato ketchup 1 ½ cup
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Chili sauce 2 tbsp
White pepper powder 1 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Chicken stock 2 cups
Slurry (cornstarch 3 tbsp + water 1/4 cup)
Fried chicken
Sesame seeds (for garnishing)
Green onion (chopped) for garnishing
Ingredients for Scrambled Eggs:
Oil 2 tbsp
Beaten eggs 2
Ingredients for Egg Fried Rice:
Oil 2 tbsp
Shan Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Carrot (chopped) 1 cup
Capsicum (chopped) 1 cup
Boiled rice 3 cups
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Green onion (chopped) 1/2 cup
Directions for Chicken Marination:
1. In a bowl add chicken, Shan Ginger Garlic Paste, egg, corn flour, chili sauce, white pepper powder, salt and mix it well.
2. In a deep pan fry oil and deep fry these chicken chunks until 90% done. Set aside.
Directions for Chicken Manchurian Preparation:
3. In a wok heat oil and ad Shan Ginger Garlic Paste, ketchup, soy sauce, chili sauce, white pepper powder, sugar, black pepper powder and cook for a minute.
4. Add chicken stock and bring it to a simmer.
5. Add slurry and cook until starts to thicken.
6. Now add fried chicken and cook for 1-2 mins or until chicken is fully done. Your Chicken Manchurian is ready. Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onion for garnishing.
Directions for Scrambled Eggs Preparation:
7. In a pan heat oil and add beaten eggs. Scramble and cook until fully done. Set aside.
Directions for Egg Fried Rice Preparation:
8. In a wok heat oil and add Shan Ginger Garlic Paste. Cook for a minute.
9. Add carrot, capsicum and cook for another minute.
10. Now add boiled rice and toss them well. Add salt, black pepper powder, green onion and toss well over high flame for a minute.
11. Your Egg Fried Rice is ready. Serve them with Chicken Manchurian and enjoy.
