Sweet Potato Kheer Recipe:
Sweet Potato – 300 grams / 3 Cups
Ghee – 3 tbsp
Milk – 1 litre
Green Cardamom (crushed) – 3 nos
Saffron – A Pinch
Sugar – ½ Cup
Salt – A Pinch
Condensed Milk (optional) – ¼ Cup
Mixed Nuts (chopped) – 3 tbsp
Cooking Instructions:
1. Peel the sweet potatoes and grate them.
2. Heat ghee in a pan and saute the sweet potato for 5 minutes on low heat. Set this aside.
3. Heat milk in another pot along with crushed cardamom and saffron. Bring it to a boil.
4. Add the sweet potatoes. Cook on medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring regularly.
5. Add sugar and cook until the sugar dissolves, around 5 minutes.
6. Add condensed milk and cook for 3-4 more minutes.
7. Allow it to cool before serving. Serve garnished with chopped nuts.
