Recipe :
Dragon Chicken
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 -20 minutes
Ingredients:
250g Chicken Breast
½ Red bell pepper, juliennes
½ Green capsicum, juliennes
4 tbsp Cornflour
1 large Onion, sliced
2 tbsp chopped garlic
1 tbsp chopped ginger
1 tsp Red chili paste
1 tbsp Sesame seeds
¼ cup Tomato ketchup
1 tsp Soya Sauce
1 tbsp Vinegar
Salt to taste
1 tsp pepper powder
Method:
Cut chicken breast into ½ “ thick and 2” long fingers. Sprinkle salt all over it.
Roll in dry flour and set aside. Dissolve 1 tbsp cornflour in ½ cup water . In another plate, mix flour, cornflour, salt, red chili powder and pepper powder. Dip the chicken pieces in corn slurry and then in the seasoned flour. Roll in the flour and set aside.
Heat 2” oil in a pan. Fry the coated chicken in medium hot oil till golden and remove.
Mix together the tomato ketchup, chili paste, vinegar, soya sauce in a bowl.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add the chopped ginger and garlic and allow to turn golden. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Toss well. Add the chicken fingers, prepared sauces, salt, pepper to taste and toss well to coat the paneer pieces with the sauces. Sprinkle sesame seeds and serve hot.
