This is a very SARAPlicious Easy Beef Asado Recipe you should try.
It is simple and very easy to prepare. A one-pot dish where you put all ingredients and simmer until the beef becomes tender.
In our recipe, I used beef chuck cut into chunks. This was seared in garlic and onions first, then the rest of the ingredients were combined.

Ingredients:
* 1 kg beef chuck
* 1 pack tomato sauce, 250g
* 2 Tbsp soy sauce
* 6 garlic cloves
* 1 medium white onion
* 2 medium bell peppers (1 red and 1 green)
* 3 pcs star anise
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
* 1 1/4 cup water
* bay leaves
* cooking oil
Procedure:
1. Heat oil in a pot.
2. Sauté garlic and onions.
3. Combine the beef chuck. Mix then cover. Cook until beef turns brown in color.
4. Add soy sauce and tomato sauce. Put star anise and bay leaves. Mix well. Cover and simmer.
5. Pour water. Season with salt & ground black pepper. Continue simmering to tenderize the beef.
6. Notice the sauce has thickened. Check if the beef is fork-tender.
7. Add the bell peppers and mix. Simmer for a minute then turn off the heat.
8. Serve with steamed rice. Enjoy!
