Now, instead of actual lemons, you can use lemon pepper powder which is readily available in store
COOKWARE USED : CARBON STEEL FRY PAN
Carbon steel is very safe to use because it is made from carbon and iron which is a safe cooking material. Carbon steel cookware doesn’t contain toxic substances like other modern nonstick cookware. Dont freak out , if you see you pan getting chipped. That is a normal phenomena for cast iron and carbon steel cookware. Carbon steel does take a little maintenance, but as long as you stay away from soap and long soaks in water you should be fine. Still, that doesn’t mean rust and sticky residue don’t happen. They do — or, if they haven’t yet, they will. Good maintenance is all you need.
INGREDIENTS
6-7 Chicken pieces ( preferably thighs/ drumstick ).
1 – 2 tbsp freshly grounded pepper.
Salt as need .
6-7 Garlic cloves, crushed ( If small in size , for medium one , use 3-4 cloves).
2 Lemons, juiced
2 Lemons, zested
2 Lemons , sliced ( tip: You can alter the lemon amount as per tanginess preference and as per size of lemon you are using )
2 tbsp parsley / coriander leaves chopped
1 tbsp corn starch for slurry
1 cup water / Chicken stock
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp Oil
