Ground beef stir fry is a super easy dish to make on the Blackstone griddle. Simple seasoned ground chuck beef with pasta sauce and chunky tomatoes and pre-cooked Udon noodles all cooked on a hot griddle. A quick and easy 20 minutes meal.

Shopping List:
1 Lb. ground chuck beef 80/20
14.2 ounce package of KAME Udon stir fry noodles
12 ounces garlic and herb pasta sauce
6 ounces chucky tomatoes
Kosher salt, course black pepper and garlic powder
Sprinkle of grated parmigiano reggiano cheese
2 tbls. light or regular olive oil for cooking the meat. (Canola or vegetable oil is okay also)
Garnish with green chives or parsley.

Directions:
Heat the Blackstone on medium-high heat then add the oil and spread around.
Add the ground beef to the oiled griddle, breakup and cook until browned. Season the beef with kosher salt, course black pepper and garlic powder.
Here’s a little trick. Since you’re cooking the hamburger meat on the flat top, push to the side then use a spatula to push most of the grease away. Return the beef to the flattop center and continue to add the other ingredients. This will reduce the amount of grease fat in the meat.
Add the pasta sauce and diced tomatoes to the browned ground beef and stir to combine.
Turn OFF the heat. The residual heat will cook the noodles which only takes 5 minutes. I do this so as to not over heat the noodles.
Add the Udon noodles to the beef and sauce. Make sure they are well hydrated with the sauce to assist with breaking them up. Cook 3-5 minutes more. The time is important otherwise the noodles will start to breakup.
Sprinkle with the cheese and garnish with the chives or parsley.
