Halang-Halang Na Baka is a Spicy Filipino Beef Stew from the Southern part of the Philippines!
Follow this easy to cook recipe, it will bring a smile to your face!
Ingredients:
2 Tbs. Cooking Oil
Garlic (Minced)
Onion (Chopped)
Ginger Root (Sliced)
Lemon Grass
1 & ½ lbs. Beef (Cubed)
1 Tsp. Ground Black Pepper
1 Tbs. Salt
¼ Cup Vinegar
3 Cups Water
½ Cup Red Chili Peppers (Chopped)
½ Cup Green Onions (Chopped)
Directions:
Heating the Cooking Oil in a Pan, Sautee the Garlic, Onion, Ginger, & Lemongrass
Let the Spice Cook for 1 Minute
Add the Beef
Add the Ground Black Pepper
Add the Salt
Mix and Cover, and Bring to a Simmer in its own juices!
Add The Vinegar
Let it Simmer Covered for 1 Minute
Add 3 Cups of Water
Cover and Bring to a Boil for 30 Minutes (Stir Occasionally)
Add Red Hot Chili Peppers
Cover and Cook for 5 Minutes
Add Green Onions
Stir for another minute or two and your Halang-Halang will be ready to Eat!
