Halwa recipe with a twist | Indian dessert recipes | Part – 1


Ingredients For halwa : 1. Ghee or clarified butter - 2tbsp 2. Beetroot grated - 1 or 2 cups 3. Milk - 3/4 cup 4. Sugar - 1/4 cup 5. Cashews and raisins 6. Cardamom (if needed for flavour) For instant khova : 1. Ghee or clarified butter - 1tsp 2. Milk - 1/4 cup 3. Milk powder - 4-5tbsp (approximately more than the milk used) Khova beetroot halwa is a quick version of the beetroot halwa recipe. The normal version is a slow cooking and simmering procedure with milk which takes a lot of time. But this recipe is the easiest and quick version of halwa making. Notes: Adding dry fruits is optional You can serve the halwa hot and warm Beetroot halwa can be kept refrigerated and used for 3 to 4 days. Music : https://www.bensound.com
