Chicken:
• Chicken breast cut into halves (approx 300g raw)
• 1 tbsp paprika
• 1 tbsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp black pepper
• 1 tbsp low & dark soy sauce
Mix well!
Sauce:
• 2 tbsp light soy mixed with 3-4 tbsp water
• 20g honey + extra drizzle for the end
• 2 tbsp rice vinegar
• 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
Mix till combined
Cooking:
– Cook the chicken on medium heat for 5 mins each side
– Lower the heat and add 3-4 cloves garlic
– Once frangrant add the sauce
– let it caramelise on low heat and baste the chicken
– Set aside with the remaining sauce from the pan
• 1 diced red onion
• 1/2 chopped red bell pepper
• 280g cooked rice
• Remaining sauce
• Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds
• Optional you can drizzle a little honey over the chicken
