HEALTHY PASTA SALAD WITHOUT MAYONNAISE | Healthy Pasta Salad Recipe for Weight Loss

This Pasta Salad is Quick and Easy to make. Made with whole wheat pasta and no mayonnaise makes it a healthy and tasty choice. It can be a great option for quick dinner or lunch recipe.
Serve it either immediately or refrigerate it for later use.

Ingredients:

For Boiling Pasta :

Whole Wheat Pasta – 1 Cup
Water – 4 Cups
Salt – ½ Tsp
Olive Oil – 1 Tsp

For Pasta Dressing/Sauce :

Hung Yogurt (Dahi) – 2 Tbsp
Pink Salt – ½ Tsp
Black Pepper – Few Cracks (As Per Taste)
Oregano (or Italian Herb Mix) – ½ Tsp
Grated Carrot – ¼ Cup
Chopped Cucumber – ¼ Cup
Chopped Onion – ¼ Cup
Chopped Celery (Optional) – ¼ Cup
Chopped Tomatoes – ¼ Cup
Green Chilli – ½ Tsp
Chopped Coriander – 2 Tbsp
Chopped Mint – 2 Tbsp
Lemon Zest – 1 Tsp

Instructions:

For Boiling Pasta :

In a sauce pan, add 4 cups of water and bring to boil.
Now add salt and olive oil to the boiling water.
Next add pasta and let it boil for 15 minutes. (or as per packet instructions).
Now drain off the pasta using a strainer and rinse with cold water to avoid over cooking.

For Pasta Dressing/Sauce :

In a mixing bowl, add hung yogurt, pink salt, black pepper and oregano and mix well.
Now add grated carrot, chopped cucumber, chopped onion, chopped celery, chopped tomatoes, chopped green chillies, chopped coriander, chopped mint leaves and lemon zest.
Next, add boiled pasta and mix everything properly until well combined.

Healthy and delicious pasta salad is ready to be served.
