Hey guys, in this video I’ll be sharing 4 delicious and nutritious plant based smoothie recipes! Smoothies are nutrient dense and make it easier to get more fruit and veg into our diets, they are super easy to make and just perfect for those days when you’re on the go.

COCONUT BERRY BLISS SMOOTHIE
Servings: 2
Ingredients:
– 1/2 cup of blueberries
– 1/2 cup of raspberries
– 1/2 cup of strawberries
– 1/2 cup of coconut yoghurt
– 1 cup of coconut milk (if you guys prefer a less creamy consistency you can substitute this with coconut water instead)
– 2 medjool dates (remove the pits before adding to blender)
– 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
Optional toppings: Fresh raspberries, blueberries, granola and shredded coconut
TROPICAL IMMUNE BOOSTER SMOOTHIE
Servings: 2-3
Ingredients:
– 1 carrot
– 1 orange
– 1 cup of frozen mango
– 1 cup of frozen pineapple
– 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder (or alternatively fresh turmeric)
– 1 chunk of ginger (~ 3 x 3cm piece)
– 2 cups of coconut water
BANANA PEANUT OATMEAL SMOOTHIE
Servings: 1-2 (depending on the size of the cups/bowls you are using)
Ingredients:
– 1 banana (frozen or fresh)
– 1/3 cup of rolled oats
– 2 medjool dates (remove the pits before adding to blender)
– 1 cup soy milk (or any milk of your choice)
– 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
– 1 tablespoon of peanut butter
Optional toppings: Freshly sliced banana, chia seed, granola, peanut butter
MANGO & ZUCCHINI GREEN SMOOTHIE
Servings: 2
Ingredients:
– 1 cup zucchini (diced)
– 2 large handfuls of spinach
– 1 banana (fresh or frozen)
– 1 cup mango (fresh or frozen)
– 1 1/2 cups soy milk (or any milk of your choice)
Method for all the above: Add all ingredients to your blender and blend for ~1 minute on high speed and then serve.
