Healthy Strawberry Muffins Recipe (kid-friendly!)

Healthy Strawberry Muffins Recipe (kid-friendly!) // This is a great recipe for a healthy breakfast for your kids – even if you have a toddler and/or a picky eater! I’m a Registered Dietitian so I created these specifically with nutrition in mind — but I know kids will only eat them if they actually taste good. So I made sure these are great-tasting, too! Not flavorless or dry, as I know the healthy muffins tend to be.

I used frozen strawberries to make this recipe as simple as possible. Frozen strawberries, whether you use organic strawberries or conventional strawberries for these muffins, have great nutrition since they are picked at the peak of their ripeness and freshness. And, you don’t have to spend time cutting off the tops! Plus, you can make these delicious strawberry muffins any time of the year — you do not have to wait on strawberry season.

And maybe it’s just my kid, but my 3 year old does NOT like chunks of anything in her muffins, so I made sure these have a nice smooth texture.
