Ingredients –
Honey Sriracha Sauce & Chicken –
1/2 Cup (120g) – Sriracha Sauce
3 Tbsp (60ml) – Low Sodium Soy Sauce
1 1/2 Tbsp (30ml) – Apple Cider Vinegar
2 1/2 Tbsp (50g) – Honey
15g (0.5oz) – Fresh Ginger, Grated
4 – Garlic Cloves, Grated
2 1/2 tsp (9g) – Corn Flour
1 Tbsp (20ml) – Peanut Oil
1.2kg (2.6lb) – Chicken Thigh
Seasoning To Taste
Jasmine Rice –
300g (10.5oz) – Jasmine Rice, Washed
500g (500ml) – Cold Water
Salt To Taste
Aromatics (Optional)
Sautéed Broccolini –
3 tsp (15ml) – Peanut Oil
300g (10.5oz) – Broccolini, Ends Trimmed
2 tsp (10ml) – Sesame Oil
Seasoning To Taste
Garnish (Optional) –
Black & White Sesame Seeds Spring Onion (Scallion)
Recipe Notes –
If you don’t like spice, the sriracha sauce can be substituted for sweet chilli sauce or tomato ketchup.
This dish can also be made with chicken breast. If you wish to do so, cook the chicken for 2 minutes less.
The rice and broccolini can be swapped with your favourite sides and vegetables. The chicken can also be substituted for tofu if you want it vegetarian or vegan.
