Puchero (now Pochero) is a Spanish term for “Stewpot” and Filipinos have learned the technique of cooking this wonderful dish. Beef Pochero (pocherong baka) is one of the varieties of pochero. The original pochero recipe is pork pochero. Beef pochero uses the same main ingredients of the pork pochero which are the saba banana, cabbage, pechay, green beans, sweet potatoes or potatoes, tomato sauce and spices.

½ kg Cabbage
3 pcs. Saging na Saba (Banana Saba)
200 grams Potatoes
200 grams Carrots
150 grams Green Beans

200 grams tomato sauce
