Buying a whole chicken and jointing it yourself usually works out much cheaper than buying chicken portions such as legs, breasts, wings etc. Plus you get all the skin, the wing tips and carcass, none of which needs to go to waste. Breaking down a chicken is actually very simple when you know how, and with a bit of practice should only take a couple of minutes. In this video I show you how I joint a chicken.
