Today we learn how to make chocolate salami without eggs or how to make chocolate sausage or any other shape.This easy chocolate salami is one of my childhood favorite sweets and today I added some extra ingredients to make the best homemade salami dessert. No Bake Chocolate Salami is a fast and easy snack or dessert for the perfect treat.

 1)Ingredients (00:15 – 00:21)
– 200 g / 7 oz digestive biscuits
– 200 g / 7 oz butter biscuits
– 100 g / 3.6 oz butter 80% fat
– 20 g / 0.7 oz cacao
– 200 g / 7 oz chocolate 50% cocoa
– 200 ml / 6.73 fl oz milk
– 100 g / 3.5 oz sugar
– 80 g / 2,8 oz pistachios
– 50 g / 1,76 oz raisins
– 150 g / 5.3 oz coconut flakes
– 9 ml / 0.3 fl oz rum essence
– 200 ml / 6.76 fl oz milk
– 100 g / 3.52 oz sugar

2)METHOD (00:22 – 02:43)

00:22 -00:53 – First break the biscuits in chunks add pistachios,80% of the coconut flakes and all raisins in the same bowl.

00:22 -01:46 – Warm the milk on low heat in a pot,when the milk is warm take some out add it over the cocoa powder and mix them well together without leaving any bumps.Afterwards add the cocoa mix into the milk pot together with butter,chocolate chunks,sugar and rum essence and mix them on low heat until everything melts together.

01:47 -02:44 – Take the warm chocolate mix and add it to the biscuits mixing them together with all the other ingredients forming a thick paste.Place this mix along a stretch foil uniformly and wrap it up and press on the mixture tightening the stretch foil until you obtain a compact shape.Add the remaining coconut flakes over the salami and press them a little using the foil.

Preferably let it cool for 12-24 h before serving so that the biscuits absorb the moisture and flavour.
Store it in the fridge and it can be consumed for up to two weeks.
