How-to Make Yogurt Mint Chicken Recipe (Dahi Pudina Chicken) – Maria Goretti

Chicken, one of the most loved meats can be prepared in different ways. Maria Goretti, who always comes with a burst of flavours, here, shows you the delicious recipe of minty cashewy yogurt chicken to pep up your dining table this festive season. The combination of yogurt and mint, gives a unique flavour to the recipe. Serve this yummy chicken dish with hot rotis or Lachha Paratha which will liven up your senses.

Ingredients To Make Yoghurt Mint Chicken (Dahi Pudina Chicken)
Chicken 1 Kg
2 tbsp Oil
2 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
2 tsp Green Chilies
400 gms Yoghurt (Whisked)
Salt to taste
1 tsp Cumin (Coarsely Crushed)
1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Ground Pepper
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
2 tbsp Cashew Nuts Paste
200gms Fresh Cream
2 Handful Of Fresh Mint Leaves

Method:
1) Add chicken to the frying pan containing 2tbsp of cooking oil and 2 tbsp of butter and cook it for about 2 minutes
2) Make the Ginger Garlic Paste and add the yogurt and the paste to the chicken and cook it for 6 to 7 minutes
3) Add 1 tbsp of coarsely grind cumin seeds, 1 tbsp of garam masala, 1 tbsp of pepper and juice of 1 lime to the chicken
4) Make cashew cream paste with a handful of cashew nuts and 200 ml fresh cream and add it to the chicken. Also add handful of fresh mint to it.
