Chicken stew is a delicious meal with a healthy butternut squash. It’s all simmered in a rich season chicken broth until tender with a perfect spicy taste and one our all time favorite meal. Quick and easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
* 2 tbsp paprika
* 1 tsp dried thyme leaves
* 1 tsp dry mustard
* 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
* 1/2 tsp ground cloves
* 1/4 tsp salt and pepper
* 8 pcs. chicken drumsticks or thighs
* 1 tbsp vegetable oil
* 1 tbsp unsalted butter
* 1/2 medium yellow onion, sliced
* 2 garlic cloves, minced
* 1 tsp ginger, minced
* 1/2 cup chicken broth
* 1 can tomato, chopped
* 2 tbsp brown sugar
* 2 tbsp soy sauce
* 1 butternut squash, peeled and coarsely cubed
* 1 can peas
* 1 tbsp cornstarch
* Fresh parsley, chopped
