KASHMIRI CHICKEN CURRY is a very simple recipe suitable for beginners and bachelors. It requires very little time and effort and also minimal ingredients to create a tasty and mouth watering dish .
This Chicken Curry is spicy flavorful and has a rich creamy texture owing to the richess of cashew that has been added to this recipe . This Chicken Curry tastes best with Rotis, Nan or Bread and it can also be paired up with delicious Zeera Rice .

INGREDIENTS:
Chicken -1 whole
Onions – 2 finely chopped
Cumin seeds -1 Tsp
Dry red chilli -10 -12
Garlic- 8-10 cloves
Chopped coriander leaves -2bsp
Cashews ground to a paste – about 10
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder – to taste .

METHOD:

1. Heat a pan and add some oil.
2. Add cumin seeds and fry for a minute. then add the chopped onions and fry till transparent .
3. Add the Chicken pieces and fry till they r a light golden colour.
4. Add the salt and Chilli Powder.
5 .Grind the dry red chilli and garlic cloves to a paste with some waterand add to the chicken. Mix well and close the lid and cook for about 10 minutes.
6. Now add the chopped coriander and then the cashew paste, mix and check for taste add as required .
7. Cover and simmer for a few minutes and serve hot with Roti, Rice or Breads .
