Procedure:
How to make KFC style chicken:
1. To a bowl, add 3 tbsp of maida, 1 tbsp of corn flower, 1/4 tsp of salt and 1/4 of chilli powder. Mix all the ingredients well.
2. Transfer 3/4th of the content to a saucer.
3. To the remaining 1/4 portion add quarter cup of water little at a time and mix well. Make sure no lumps are formed. Now it is nicely mixed.
4. Today I have taken two legs pieces. Make slits in the legs, so that it gets cooked easily.
5. Coat the leg piece with the dry mixture. Then dip it in the wet mixture. then again coat it with the dry mixture. Make sure you use one hand for each, so that you don’t end up messing the dry mixture wet.
6. Now its nicely coated and ready to get fried. Likewise keep both the leg pieces ready.
7. Heat sufficient amount of oil in an iron pot. When the oil is nice and hot add the leg pieces. Fry in medium flame. Flip to the other side when one side is nicely done. Let this again cook for 5 more minutes. Now both sides are nicely done, so remove.
8. Serve it nice and hot with ketchup or mayonnaise and enjoy with your family and friends.
