Kunafa is a delicious Arabian dessert, this version is easy to make and tastes just like the authentic recipe minus the calories.
Ingredients:
Sugar
water
lemon juice
unsalted Butter
Vermicelli
saffron
dry fruits
Mawa
Method:
In a pan add water and sugar. Give it a boil to make a sugar syrup.
Add lemon juice and mix it well.
Give it a boil.
In a pan add butter and let it melt. Now add Vermicelli. Roast until it becomes brown.
Add saffron and mix it well.
In a baking mould place the roasted Vermicelli . Then add mawa again plave the Vermicelli and the mawa . Press it properly. Now pour the sugar syrup and then mixed dry fruits.
Now Bake for 20 min at 180*c
Serve it after dinner !
