Lemon Kadai Chicken Recipe | Karahi Lemon Chicken Drumsticks Curry | Punjabi Style Chicken Curry in Easy Steps.
Ingredients:
5= lbs. Chicken Drumsticks
1= Tbsp. Minced Garlic | 1= Tbsp. Ginger Paste
2= Tomatoes | 1= Onion | 1= Potato (Raw)
5= Green Chilies
1= Cup Lemon Juice (8 oz./227 grams/16 Tbsp.)

“IF USING FRESH LEMON AND ARE THEY REALLY SOUR??? THEN Please ADJUST TO TASTE”

¼= cup Olive Oil | 2= Tbsp. Olive Oil (for Tadka)
1= Tbsp. Cumin Seed | 1= Tbsp. Brown Sugar
1= Tbsp. each (Coriander Powder / Red Chili Powder / Turmeric Powder / Garam Masala / Black Pepper / Salt)
1= cup Water (optional)
Garnish with a good amount of Cilantro.

1) Take these ingredients and food process them into a paste.
¼= cup Olive Oil |
2= Tomatoes |
1= Onion |
1= Potato
5= Green Chillies

2) NEXT, Remove the skin from the legs and cut them on each side to the bone.

3) Heat 2= Tbsp. Olive Oil (for Tadka)
1= Tbsp. Cumin Seed |
1= Tbsp. Minced Garlic |
1= Tbsp. Ginger Paste
Stir and cook for a minute
add puree from above
Cook 3=4 minutes

4) Add
1= Cup Lemon Juice
1= Tbsp. Brown Sugar
1= Tbsp. each (Coriander Powder / Red Chili Powder / Turmeric Powder / Garam Masala / Black Pepper / Salt)

Cook till all spices are cooked and its cooked down a bit

5) Add chicken stir till completely coated, move heat to medium.

Stir and then cover, cook for 10 minutes.

6) Add 1 cup of water, and cook for another 10 minutes.

Leave the lid off, and turn to high and stir.

When the drumstick meat pulls back and starts showing bones it’s done.

7 Add chopped cilantro ( almost a cup )

Serve over rice, or with Roti, Naan, and Tortilla.
