Drunken chicken… it’s one of 2022’s top trending recipes, according to Google’s annual ‘Year in Search’ trends! Traditionally hailing from Shanghai, drunken chicken gets its name from chicken being poached in a rather boozy broth flavoured with Chinese rice wine. It’s typically served chilled, although room temperature is also great. Serve this trending chicken dish as part of a Chinese banquet and watch the compliments come flooding in.
