MANCHURIAN CHICKEN | chicken manchurian recipe | stir fried chicken

Manchurian Chicken is an indian-chinese fusion dish that many may find hard to make at home but fret not as I have simplified this recipe, making sure that ingredients are easy to get and simple cooking techniques. You can try this dish out at home too!

Ahhhh, can’t wait for circuit breaker to finally be over and resume to our normal lives but for now I hope everyone is being socially responsible and staying home.

Ingredients:

To marinate
400-500g chicken fillet or any other chicken parts you love, cubed
1 tbsp chinese cooking wine
1 tsp salt
pinch of pepper to taste
1 whole egg
4 tbsp corn starch

1-2 mix tri colour bell peppers, seeds removed, sliced into chunks
1 onions, sliced into chunks
1 tbsp chopper garlic
1 tbsp chopped ginger
2 stalks spring onions using the white part of spring onions

Sauce (To pre-mix them)
*keep stirring to prevent lumps from forming*
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
salt and pepper to taste
8 tbsp water (Adjust with more water if needed during cooking)
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp dark soy sauce (optional)

Green part of spring onions for garnish
