Today i am sharing with you a very simple quick and easy Mango dessert recipe. Enjoy summer with Mangoes ?
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup (250ml) Milk
1/3 cup Sugar
You can add less sugar according to your taste
2 tablespoons Corn starch/corn flour
3/4 cup Mango puree
Ladyfingers biscuits as needed
(If you want to use cake then use less sugar in dessert because Ladyfingers which i am using in this recipe are less sweet )
To prepare whipping cream:
1 cup of chilled whipping cream (or heavy cream)
2 tablespoons icing sugar
Method:
Add 1/3 cup of sugar and 2 tablespoons of corn starch in 1 cup (250ml) milk and cook on medium heat. Continuously stir while cooking until you get thick consistency like pudding, then turn the flame off and let it cool down.
On the other hand take ripe and sweet mango and make a puree . When milk custard will be cold then add 3/4 cup of mango puree in it and mix to combine. Mango custard is ready now .
Now in a separate bowl take 1 cup (250ml) cold whipping cream with 2 tablespoons of icing sugar and whip until it reaches a stiff peak.
Dip Ladyfingers in cold milk and make a layer in a dish then add a layer of mango custard then a layer of cream , now repeat the process again and make 2 layers .
Garnish with fresh mango chunks and refrigerate for at least 5 hours or overnight for best results.
