Mango Phirni is an awesome dessert to make this Mango season. It is a rice pudding which is made with rice paste rather than the rice grains. This gives it a nice custard like consistency. The traditional Phirni is just that – rice paste and milk and then you can add any flavour of your choice. Mango Phirni is an obvious choice in this case 🙂
Ingredients :
2 Alphonso Mangoes (or any other kind)
1 litre Milk
1/2 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Basmati Rice
Water as needed
1 tbsp Dry fruit powder (Almonds, Cashew nuts, Cardamoms)
